"The house was clean and inviting the moment you walked through the door. The host family was friendly and very helpful. After a day of sightseeing and adventure it was wonderful to come back to the house and relax in the hot tub. It was a great trip. "

The only thing that could of made it better in the cold weather would of been a propane fire pit on the screened in porch."

"This is my second time staying here and I will stay here whenever it’s available for my trips to Dartmouth. It’s comfortable, quiet, close to downtown and the ferry to Halifax. The owner is on site and communication is clear. Lots of amenities in both units as I’ve stayed in both and they are very clean and we maintained. Parking on site. Such a great spot. "

"Hot tub great. Lighting could have been better. Kitchenette area dark to work in and only had one plug for 4 appliances, made cooking difficult. No TV channels."

"Good sized bedrooms w/ good mattresses, 5 minute walk to ferry; row of restaurants 3 blocks away but kitchen trash can was full, floors were dirty. No curtain on best room facing main street, bathroom smells,closets and shelves are mostly full, kitchen has no stove or hot plate."

"We stayed here for 1 night, beautiful view of the bay of Fundy. We were travelling with our 2 yorkies, so we really got our exercise, we were on the 3 floor, no public elevator so a lot of stairs, property was lovely. "

"Stayed at this location September 5th with friends for a concert downtown. We originally had a junior suite booked, and hadn’t arrived in the city until 7ish that evening. The concert was opening for 9pm. We were promptly checked in and given a complimentary upgrade to the king suite. Parking was quick and convenient! And because we were short on time we had room service ordered, again, quick delivery and the food was amazing. We will defiantly be back !! Also the security deposit being $50 and refunded at check out is amazing. Not like other places that charge $200 and sometime isn’t credited back for 5 days. Great stay and service :) "

"Nice classic hotel in downtown Halifax. Had a suite facing a rather drab courtyard but this made the room very quiet. Bed decor amenities in room adequate. Bathroom was small. Had a nice lounge area- room was a suite. Hotel stands right across from a beautiful Victorian park- one of the finest park Ive seen in a while. Also within walking distance of the citadel & general downtown area. Generally all plusses here. Convenient parking next door with easy in- out"
