"Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. "I had a traditional Japanese room. It was super comfortable - and the view from my window of Happo One was beautiful! It was convenient walk to restaurants and bars. The Happo One gondola was a bit of a hike - but definitely within easy walking distance is the Hakuba Happo bus station. Easy to get to other mountains via the shuttle."

"Well what a 10 days that was. Fantastic from the moment we stepped into the front door to the moment we were dropped at the bus stop to leave. Excellent position to the lifts at happo one. And don’t miss the Friday night buffet (make sure u book early). The breaks and coffee every morning became my highlight each day. Set the tone for such a great day. And finally the onsen. What a great way to experience the onsen in Japan. Was always clean and super restorative after a day on the slopes. Well done team I definitely hope to be back"
