"When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! With no tv or wifi it was a great place to get lost in the serenity and away from the hustle and bustle of life and technology. This was one of our highlight stays in our 16 day tour...

"Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back."

"Sarah’s place was a welcome haven to explore the Kaikōura area. The house was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains from the comfortable deck chairs. Sarah was friendly and welcoming and had great tips for local attractions. One of our favourite New Zealand stops. Highly recommended."

WiFi is limited by poor signal strength. Kaiakoura is pretty and these apartments are next to the coast with a great Ocean view. "

"My friend and I booked the Albatross Encounter Tour in Kaikoura, and we stayed with our pooches at this comfortable bach for a long weekend. South Bay is quieter than the main township itself and is close to the boat ramp and the southern end of the Peninsula Walk. The bach was a great place to cook, relax on the verandas and hang out.
