"I fell in love with this cottage the moment we pulled into the driveway. I knew the second I stepped inside we were in for a magical stay, and we were. We adored everything about this dreamy old gal. My favorite thing was the porch for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. It is centrally located between Belfast and Camden so you will never be short of things to do. That is if you can talk yourself off of that dreamy porch. "

"Very clean and well stocked property. All communications with David were prompt. I’ve been to the Samoset several times and the views are awesome however this property is not oceanfront nor does it have an ocean view so it was somewhat of a disappointment. Still you’re very close to all the Samoset amenities and a short drive to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. "

"This is a very nice, clean ranch style house that is a short walk from the harbor. It is very quiet and comfortable lodging. The area is extremely safe and very pleasant to go for walks. The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone - large spaces to be together and nooks and crannies for a private moment. "Home was tucked away, but easy to find. Home was very clean, and fit our needs. It appears the home got new floors and trim, and somehow in the process the door jams got messed up. Most of the doors will not close or closed very hard with the door rubbing on the jam. Don't overlook that there is no TV. This wasn't important to us, but may be for others. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him."
