"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus Archaeopteryx. Nur die Anreise mit ÖPNV war eine kleine Abenteuerreise, da die Busse teilweise nur einmal täglich fahren. Das Haus war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer nett und es gab genug Bäder für alle. Unser Highlight war der Pool und der kleine Berg am Haus, von dem aus man den Sonnenuntergang perfekt beobachten könnte. "

"We has a lovely time staying at this property. The hosts are charming and helpful. There is plenty of parking and a lovely garden to use. We enjoyed walking out across the road to stroll down by the river. It is very peaceful here. Locally are pretty towns and great history and landscapes. I especially liked Weissenberg. The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!) Not a knock out - it’s a lock out!

"Hotel locked on arrival. No advance warning that reception was not staffed. Supposed to open at 3 so went back then. No one turned up. Called a number stuck on the door and eventually got instructions on how to enter via the back door using a key pad number. Pity nobody thought to email that in advance. All in all, a total shambles. A place to avoid."
