"Excellent communication. Nice rooms. However, person staying next door to us had a dog that would randomly bark and after a bit it would finely settle. Bathroom toilet was not cleaned. For just a place to lay our head it did the trick. We would've loved to take advantage of the sitting area outside, but the weather was not going to allow that. We would stay again and hopefully our next stay will be better."

"Nice room. Used black light to check room for cleanliness and found it was clean. Close to downtown. 2 problems - no sugar for coffee, and car wash across street. I mean, who uses a robo wash at 2am??? (I used to live in San Saba, remember when car wash was Nall's store, and Wildflower Lodge was Nall's court) I would stay here again and recommend it."

"We stayed in a riverside cabin and it was a wonderful getaway. Great outdoor space with thoughtful additions like bbq tools for the pits and lots of outdoor seating. The shower had great water pressure and it was super conveniently located for day passes to Colorado Bend State Park. We loved it and will be back."

"Great place to stay, with lots of activities to do. Cabin was well kept and plenty of bed. Pool was way over chlorinated, with a tab still in it. Seemed like someone was just tossing in chlorine “just in case” and didn’t test the water and add the appropriate amount. Unfortunate there’s only two full bedrooms with one master shared sleeping room. Great for family and kids, not as good with 11 adults."

"The cabin was beyong my expectations and more. The attention to the details were magnificent. Karen is a marvelous delight. She has thought of everything. We felt so welcomed. It was like coming home. Leaving was way too hard. The land is beautiful and peaceful. The wildlife is stunning. We throughly enjoyed walking the river, exploring through the trees, stargazing in the hot tub, and sitting by the fire. I cannot wait to go back. This place is a treasure!"
