"Amazing friendly people. The hotel is modern and clean. My only critique would be that there is an emphasis on keeping the front area and grounds tended to more frequently. There was some trash around the parking area that hadn’t been picked up during my 3 days. Also there are weeds now growing through the pavement in the front entrance. The lobby going in had not been vacuumed and there was small tile pieces piled in the corner. The blue chairs in the bar area are very lovely but some are ripping at the seams and very visible. I also smelled marajuana in not only the public bathroom next to the bar but also several times walking through the halls. I see that there is a slippery slope with the quality of the hotel. These are small issues that did not affect my stay but were noticed and are simple fixes that will keep visitors returning. I fear that if these simple items are overlooked then there will be continued decline which would be a shame. It truly is a wonderful hotel and I will happily return and tell others to stay until there is a reason not to. I hope management reads my words and integrates them with seriousness and as an opportunity to shine. "

"Was unexpectedly re-routed to BWI, and rolled into the hotel at 1am. The front desk staff was incredibly nice. The room was super clean, the bedding was great. There was a nice little restaurant with free breakfast that was lovely. Made a bad flight day an little better."

"Stayed at the Historic Inns of Annapolis - Governor Calvert House. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient. Valet parked the car and due to being centrally located, we didn't use the car for the two days we were in Annapolis. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Check in was quick and easy, room was affordable for location. Very short walk to the CFG bank arena, so it was easy to get back and forth to the room during the kpop concert. Let us check out late for free. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again!"
