"Maria, the owner could be contacted directly and sent a local manager across to talk to us during the initial visit. They do not speak English but they do their best to make sure that with limited German (on my part) all matters were handled correctly. At some stage the house was renovated, some of the finishes could have been done better, but you also need to look at the charges for this property. All up a very quiet location, beautiful views across a wooded valley and good value for money. "

"Es war leider - trotz ausgiebigem Querlüften in der Nacht - sehr heiß in den Schlafzimmern (29°C). Den in der Beschreibung angegebenen Ventilator gab es leider nicht. Der Besitzer hat uns dann zwar einen anderen zur Verfügung gestellt, jedoch war dieser so verdreckt (u.a. tote Mottenlarven!), sodass wir ihn nicht verwenden wollten & deshalb nach Hartberg fahren mussten, um neue Ventilatoren zu kaufen. Insgesamt hätte die Unterkunft etwas sauberer und die Küche besser ausgestattet sein...

"We stayed at the property during an incredibly warm period and were located on the 4th floor of the hotel. There’s no air conditioning and a fan wasn’t available, sleeping was very difficult. Otherwise, the property and the staff were great although the interior finishes are looking a little tired. I would suggest this is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star, and would have been excellent if we were paying 3 star rates."

Amazing service, wonderful stay.

"Wow! This hotel was the friendliest, cleanest, service oriented hotel we have ever stayed in around the world, on arrival Tristan made us a cup of tea to sit at the patio and chill before checking in. Marcella took us to our room to check it was ready and the outstanding service continued. we were treated like family and that is the atmosphere created. The spa area was out of this world and would compete with any luxury resort. Tristan’s local knowledge and advice on where to eat and how to get around on the tram were so helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
