"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

"Enjoyed our stay in Tarvin! The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were perfect for a weeks stay. It was winter so no garden in bloom but it was lovely, well maintained and I enjoyed some bird watching. "

"The house was clean and contained everything needed for a lovely stay. It's set in a beautiful area looking over fields of sheep and horses. The hot tub works well. However, although the property is advertised as having 5 bathrooms, it should be noted that only 4 of the bedrooms are ensuite (and two of them share a Jack and Jill bathroom). There is one other bathroom but that is actually a toilet. There is also only one shower at the property, with the other two bathrooms having baths."

My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas"

"Used this home as a base for a weekend in the Peak District, with 5 other couples. The building is stunning, kitchen is well stocked with appliances and other items. 2 fridge/freezers which were handy. Lots of spaces to relax and the hot tub was fantastic. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. You would think that you are staying in the hotel and the parking would be free. But this hotel charged us for the night parking."

Last but certainly not least is that the price of the hotel is perfect. Unlike manchester city centre where every hotel is a rip off. This hotel really is worth every penny"

"It was easy to check in and we had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Our flight was cancelled so we had to book an extra day and the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating.
