Extremely quaint, great opportunity to be a part of local culture. Dining outside; biergarten on the promenade. Super friendly staff. Century Hotel is a modern version of old time European Inn. Restaurant on base floor with a small number of small but very functional rooms on upper floors. There is no elevator. If stairs are a challenge come for the food and biergarten.
On first sight we thought meh, but even after climbing the steep, spiral steps to our room (first one on second floor), we were impressed once we went into the room!
It was quaint, warm, perfect size for 2 people, well designed for comfort, romance, ambience and had a great feel-good vibe. The bathroom was cute, well laid out, had all we needed, good size shower, good shelving (window ledge) to put your stuff on. The toilet was a surprise landing (low to the ground), but once we got used it, good as gold.
Bed was big and cosy, windows covered with just enough flowers to be private. We absolutely adored this booking (room 1) and would definitely come back. Thank you!
Nice place, good location and there is parking nearby (under the bridge, perhaps 50m from the hotel). The employees were all helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was not fancy, but fine, and the coffee was delicious. It was very hot (I was at the top floor under the roof) but the roof had an excellent A/C.
Zeer leuke gezellige locatie.

Liftless Hotel Has to Hurt a Beautiful Place
Not senior friendly. Getting to and from rooms requires multiple staircases. No elevators!! Too bad because hotel is in a great little area with a very good full service restaurant.

Super!!
Heel vernieuwde badkamer. Perfecte ligging. Gedienstelijk personeel.
Airco boven de bedden is een minpunt. Verwarming op de kamer ging niet.
Clean and surprisingly spacious room. The staircase up can be a challenge with luggage as it is narrow, steep and has low headroom in some places. Otherwise, it was great.
