"Very authentic experience on beautiful Miyajima island. The sushi dinner was incredible and like nothing we’ve had before. We were traveling as a family and the owner/chef prepared separate more kid-friendly sushi for my 8 and 11 yo. Breakfast was great as well. Sleeping on the floor is not something we’re used to but it was fine for the night. "

"Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. The shuttle service was very convenient and made sure to wait for everyone. The dinner and breakfast were both amazing, it was really great getting two meals full of local foods. The view out the hotel window was fantastic, we could sit and just look outside for hours at the deer walking around the beach. It was a perfect mix of traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comfort and convenience. Our favorite hotel we stayed at during our two weeks in Japan."

"Nice and quiet, Im assuming there WAS a bar that is no longer in operation. If it were open, it would’ve had a livelier atmosphere. We stayed for a night so that we could enjoy Miyajima Island at night and not have to haul our kids back to Osaka on the train. It was also nice to see the area early and later outside of the high traffic tourist hours. "

"We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location. The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Unlimited wine at night with all day provided snacks was a cherry on the top. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there who would plan an overnight stay on the island.
