"The owner is not kind or friendly, I had to wait in rain around 40 minutes before a kind neighbor arrived and helped, no bed is ok but tatami and everything is short, I’m 5’8 only and I had to try sleeping in half moon position, no bathroom attached bed room, at night time you have to go down into a very steep stairs which is dangerous, no taxi can enter the premise and will not come to get you. "The property exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have is that some of the entries in their complementary guidebook led to some wasted time due to inaccuracies. I would definitely go to this accomodation again but I hope by then they have updated their book. "Stayed with 3 adults and 2 kids under 4 years old. Incredible service and food. The open air onsen is beautiful. Our room had a patio onsen that was beautiful as well. Attendants put out our futons while we were at dinner and spa had really reasonable pricing. Communication prior to arrival was clear and best of all - the hotel is walking distance from the ropeway/pirate boat station. So convenient after all of the transit to get to the lake. Thank you for the outstanding stay!"

"We had an amazing stay. It was such a rejuvenating experience! The mat beds were probably the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever gotten and the always hot hot spring tub will be something I dream about forever. Food was amazing, although the portions are almost too much for one meal. We left each meal stuff beyond belief and partially dreaded not being hungry enough to eat the next one haha. Such an amazing stay, we would most definitely come back again!"
