"We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Craig Appin. The hotel is situation is a stunning spot, and the rooms are beautiful. We had a freshly prepared meal served in the dining room in the evening which was delicious, just like the breakfast and tea we had in the beautiful garden. The service was second to none and when we’re back in Sri Lanka we will definitely be going back to Craig Appin! "

"There was no towel ready when we came and it took them 30 minutes+ to get even though we ask two times and they said 2 minutes. We ordered tea to the room which was also very slow. Seems like they forgot we came. Otherwise, nice place with a beautiful view. Last thing, google maps didnt show right direction. When we called them they knew that it show a wrong route, so we (our driver) had a 45 minutes detour. "

"+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us.
