"The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. "Wir hatten wunderschöne 7 Tage und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Alles war so unkompliziert und super netten Kontakt gehabt. Klar, ein Boot muss noch extra dazu gebucht werden, dass könnte auch im Haus mit inklusive sein, zumal man das Haus nur über Wasser erreichen kann aber es war auch sehr unkompliziert in Grou eins zu mieten für die Woche, da gibt es genug Boote. Das Haus war sehr sauber und der Ausblick in alle 4 Himmelsrichtungen ist Fantastisch. Schöne Bootstouren gemacht...

"Sehr schön an einem See gelegen, können bis zu sechs Persönchen in diesem Häuschen unterkommen. Das Auto parkt im zugangsbeschränktem Bereich direkt vor dem Haus. Gute Hausstruktur, so dass Schlafen und Wohnen auf diesem Raum möglich ist. Die Terasse ist zum Teil überdacht und reicht als sonnenbeschienener Teil bis ans Wasser. Sitzmöbel sind auch außen vorhanden. Die Enten und Schwäne schauen öfter mal nach. Die Ausstattung ist reichlich, ein scharfes Messer fehlt. Als Selbstversorger kann man...

"Ich bin mit Freunden und zwei Kinder (1 Jahr) über Silvester in der Unterkunft gewesen. Wir fanden es traumhaft schön. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und der Whirlpool läd zum Entspannen ein. Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Der Start in 2024 war phänomenal."

"Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"

"I really enjoyed my two night stay at this hostel. The team at reception were really helpful and friendly. The place opened in August 2024 to at least 4* hotel level. Great cafe and bar on ground floor. The location is very central in the old town and directly opposite Vets concert venue. Provides- Bedding Towel Soap/shower gel Keypad locker I had a great night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower rooms were to an excellent standard. I would fully recommend if in Groningen "
