Great place to stay at La Habana
Good welcome by the hosts, clean room, filtered water available, great location, good breakfasts, WI-FI as good as it can be for Cuba. Would definitely recommend.

mario, our host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was large and in a good location for walking to places we wanted to see The breakfast was also excellent. Unfortunately we were mugged nearby ( partly my fault for just accepting Havana was as safe as the rest of Cuba) which put a dampener on our stay there, but the rest of our time was great.

Thank you very much ,Mario!! Do you remember us,5 Koreans? We stayed 3nights 4 days. From 25Dec.2024 to 28. Dec 2024. Mario~You are the best host ever I met. He always try to help me for taxi to airport and let me know where I can exchange money safely. I was very impressed about it. His apartment is very close to malecon and any other place to reach on foot. Everything is perfect. If I have chance to go back to Havana,Cuba. I will definitely stay in his apartment. Thanks again^^

Top place to visit Havana
It was a greate place to stay! Very good central position to all places to be seen in Havana. All rooms are comfortable and have enough place, air conditioner but the sitting room. The best of the apartment is the owner family - Mr. Mario and his nice wife. Thanks a lot to them for their very friendly support, delicious breakfast and all the shared information which made our trip unforgettable.

An absolute gem!
This is a great property. Mario and Kenia are great hosts, and keep a beautiful flat. Bedrooms are nicely air-conditioned. Breakfast was so welcome and well worth including. Well located, very close to many of Havana's highlights.

The apartment is located on the top floor of the building. The rooms are spacious, clean, and they have all the amenities we needed. Mario was very attentive, always available, and helped us with all our questions and needs. Several attractions as well as restaurants in Habana Vieja are within walking distance. This is an excellent property, we booked a twin room but had the whole apartment for ourselves. The living area and large balcony are very nice. Everywhere is clean and in Havana standards it was quiet. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. Location is good too, walking distance to all main sights, Prado and many restaurants. There is a lot of construction going on outside at the moment, but that will eventually improve the vicinity.

Stay at Casa Castellon was with no doubt one of the best accommodations ever for me. Host Marco and his dears make sure you are fed, happy, safe and know everything about pleasant things in Havana. There is no words how friendly they are, feels like meeting great friends whom you know for ages. Apartment is perfectly clean, rooms are being cleaned everyday, even it’s not a luxurious place feels excellent. If I’m again in Havana I’m going straight to this casa 😉 Thank you for such great time!

Mario is amazing! Helped us with all directions and took good care of us the whole trip. He helped us with internet and cool tips. Location is the best. Closed to anything you wanna see in Havana Vieja. We actually haven’t even used car at all.

Recently we stayed at Casa Castellon for two days. The casa consists of a flat with three rooms for guests and shared dining area, kitchen, and balcony. Filtered water is freely available. Our room was sufficiently spacious and clean with good AC, and good wifi available for a minimal fee. It was interesting to experience staying in a setting similar to the homes of many urban Cubans. Mario and his wife are friendly hosts who kindly provided us with whatever information we needed to make the most of our stay in Havana. We were glad to have ordered the optional breakfast as it included generous portions and nice coffee. The location is convenient with all the sights of the old city within easy walking distance.

Location: just outside Havana Vieja, so advantages of being in the centre without its disadvantages. Most sights such as Capitol, Paseo de Prado, Malecon, Havana Vieja squares - accessible on foot. We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment, each bedroom comes with small bathroom and can be locked for private use, there is a common dining room where breakfasts are served, a kitchen and a balcony. You can also rent the whole apartment for yourself. Bedrooms are just big enough, simple furnitured and decent with storage places, located on the quieter side of the apartment. Mario the host speaks fluent English and is ready to help in e.g. ordering a decent taxi. Breakfasts are available (seasonal fruits, squeezed juice, buns, butter, cheese, tea/coffee), fridge is stocked with filtered water. Tip to do a good deed: given the current economic crisis in Cuba, ask the host Mario before arrival if there's something you can bring with you for him.

We hebben 4 nachten doorgebracht in de Casa van Mario. Vooraf was er al zeer goed contact en heeft Mario o.a. de transfer vanaf de luchthaven geregeld en goede tips gegeven over een aantal praktische zaken die handig zijn om te weten voordat je naar Cuba vertrekt. Tijdens het verblijf was Mario altijd beschikbaar voor vragen en heeft hij ons tips gegeven voor onze verdere reis in Cuba. Wat het gemakkelijker maakt is dat hij uitstekend Engels spreekt. De akkomodatie zelf ligt op een prima plek aan de rand van de oude stad. De plek is rustig en veilig. De kamer met badkamer zijn prima en er is een gemeenschappelijke woonkamer, keuken en balkon. Indien gewenst wordt er een prima obtbijt klaargemaakt. Wij raden de akkommodatie van Mario dan ook ten zeerste aan.

オーナーは大変親切な方で、周辺の地図や観光の情報を下さいました。 建物の外観は古いのですが、室内は綺麗にリフォームされて生かす。共用スペースにはセンスの良い家具や置物があります。 部屋は広く、エアコン等の設備は新しく、清潔に保たれています。 毎日丁寧なベッドメイキングもされます。 朝食も大変美味しくいただきました。
