A nice stay with a very friendly family
We were staying for 4 nights in the casa of Nonno and Mario and have enjoyed our stay, delicious breakfasts and kind attention of the hosts. (Nonno has even prepared a jar of his famous marmalade for us to take home!) The room was simple, clean, spacious, with an air conditioning and with a balcony giving a view on the street and a school. The bed was comfortable, clean and nicely done. The house is an old colonial casa with old furniture. The location of the casa is a quite distant from the tourist routes, so we have almost always used a taxi. There is a small vegetable market nearby. Houses and streets in the surroundings are pretty old and poorly maintained, so this casa stand out from the rest. You would need to take care of Internet connection yourself, either by getting a SIM card or obtaining an hourly card for WiFi connections of Etecsa (a shop is 10 min walk). Speaking Spanish is a big advantage.

Estuvimos cuatro día cin nuestra hija Julia de 6 años. Nos sentimos realmente como en casa, junto a Tomás y su señora, Mario y Regla. La casa está en muy buemnas condiciones con habitaciones cómodas y ubicada en un precioso barrio de la Habana, el Vedado. Recomendamos de corazón pasar allí cuando visiten la Habana.
