"The most beautiful secluded spot on a very small estate, overlooking fields and the sea. The accommodation is well thought through with everything you need (nice bed, normal toilet and shower (a tight squeeze!) kitchen (2 x gas hobs and basics included). There’s a lovely little log burner in the corner with logs there but in September we didn’t need it. There’s a picnic bench outside and further seating around the fire pit which also doubles as a bbq with a spectacular view. The sky at night is...

"Just returned me from a two night stay at the Shepards hut. Perfect location, perfect views, perfect everything! It is tucked away at the top of the field where you have an incredible view of the sea and seating area with a fire pit to enjoy even more. The hut itself is perfect in every way and was spotless! We would visit again and again and… again! "

"Not great I’m sorry to say. It was cold for July and the heating didn’t work. I used the vrbo link to communicate this and got a reply telling me to turn the radiators controls up… The manual advised the heating could be controlled with the thermostat on the wall. This was blank. There must have been a timed control external to the property as the heating came on sometimes. Despite more attempts to contact the owners through the correct channel I got no reply. The owner lived on the property...

"The ceiling is severely slanting coming down to about 4 foot of the ground. As a result it was impossible to Not keep banging your head and I’m only 5 ft tall. This is the loft of a converted garage. It is not the whole building as suggested by photograph. We managed for 2 days but glad we had not booked for a week."
