"Once we got to our spacious room, we were quite impressed. Yes, not everything is to everyones standards,but we were happy. Big bed, spabath, room and a balcony over-looking the ocean and beachfront. Easy walk into town, approx 3-5 mins away, to plenty of eateries and a main st shooping area. Only problem we found was the tv was mounted too high on the wall. "

"Great to walkable locationin the heart of the town. Lots of restaurants and shops. Historic building updated with period and modern. Great staff. Smallish period sized nicely appointed room. "

"Overall, I was very pleased with the property! It's basic, but clean, up-to-date, well-maintained and safe. My room was very spacious. The check-in is "remote" (the front desk is staffed for only a few hours each day), but the process was very simple - the hotel sent very clear instructions and provided a mobile # in case I ran into any problems (which I didn't). The property is close to a wide choice of restaurants and shops, about a 7 minute walk from the waterfront, and best of all (for me) ... about a 3 minute walk to the intercity bus stop. Highly recommended if you don't care about "luxury" and just want a safe, clean place to sleep."

"The room was very nicely appointed with all the things that one might need for an overnight stay. The view off the balcony of the ocean was lovely. A very nice motel. Would definitely stay again if I am in the Napier area."

"We had an excellent stay. Swiss is a new, modern and spacious building with convenient parking in the basement. Room was nice, clean … and equally spacious. Staffceas friendly and flexible. We used the shared washing machine and dryer, it worked fine. Maybe only two `negative` things to mention … the tap in the bathroom was just able to reach over the sink, hence some water spill on the table top, and the breakfast was a bit `flat`. However, these are minor issues and only mentioned by spoiled guests 😊"
