"The welcome was lovely, Our room was wonderfully Decorated, clean, and warm. We only stayed for 1 night ,but the sleep was quality, as the bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast was superb 👌 👏 "

"We arrived at 16.30 checkin was quick and i went to the room my husband went to make a reservation for dinner.The room was very tastefully decorated but no heating on,as it was Febuary it would have been nice to walk into a warm room.We were only able to book for 21.00 which was far too late when we had lunch at 13.00.We were not able to order our choice on the menu as they had sold out sausage and mash and fish and chips nothing special maybe defrost a few more. W "

"Spa area was spread out with facilities a walk away from each other. Remember to take robes and slippers down with you as they were not offered at the spa reception. "

"I stayed for 2 nights whilst working in the area and despite some terrible reviews, I found it to be more than reasonable, with good access to local amenities, parking was great on site and I was able to use it for the 3 days of work, and it was clean too. Staff were friendly and helpful, the coffees from the bar were also decent, and it was quiet at night too. The bed was a little old and had seen better days but was fine for being comfortable, the room was a little old fashioned and the floors were a bit noisy with creaky floorboards, but it is an old pub, so I felt it was fitting with the character. I'd happily book again. "
