"Very nice little get away that's tranquil and off the beaten path. Tillie's (restaurant on location) is outstanding. Phenomenal dinner and drink selections with a nice and easy (still very good) breakfast selection. We will be back for sure. "

"We were thoroughly pleased with the well maintained property and our stay! Perfect size for 2 people. Secluded. Lots of bird activity. There were 2 bird food feeders and we brought our own hummingbird feeder. The cabana area down by the creek is awesome! There are even a couple of walking sticks hanging by the door which were handy to have. Harriet was quick to respond to any questions we had and her directions to the cabin were spot on! The propane grill was nice and great not to have to mess w/ charcoal or wood! We hope to get back in the autumn for a different set of birds!"

Definitely a must stay

"Jennifer was the most amazing host. She was easily reachable and is the sweetest. The definition of southern hospitality. Right away she made us feel at home. She welcomed our family and made sure we had everything we needed to create wonderful memories. The location was peaceful and close to several affordable outdoor activities. The home was absolute gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be visiting again. "

Weekend getaway

"Property is beautiful, from the Casita to the pool area to the pavilion area. Great weekend getaway from the city to relax and soak in the breeze and views. Great attention to detail with the games, fire pit, TV at the pavilion. Casita had absolutely everything we needed, they even thought of having a Brita water pitcher in the fridge. Planning another weekend soon and telling family to join us. "

Family Reunion

"First family reunion. Amazing place!! Common area was family friendly and the bedrooms were situated away from the common area, which worked out well. With so many different age children each family were able to retreat to your own space when needed and join the family for meals and games.. Pool was fantastic! Views amazing!! Fire pit was great for s’mores!! Definitely a place to revisit again!! "

Quiet and Secluded

"Great place to unwind with the family and enjoy the outdoors. Dealing with the management company is a bit of a pain: you pay a booking fee with VRBO, but the remaining balance via the management company's app. It doesn't always work, requiring some back-and-forth via their message system. At the time of booking, you're basically agreeing to full time monitoring by the company, but I only saw a single outdoor camera while staying. The home is great but could use a little TLC. Some amenities like the fireplace and outdoor shower weren't functional at the time of my visit. The mattresses may be a bit overdue for replacement, some of the blinds need a bit of repair, and the main bedroom fan remote was missing with the speed locked to "hurricane mode." The lower recreational area needs a bit of a cleanup as well with some maintenance on the equipment. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives: amazing view, quiet location, with a lot of activities to keep the family engaged. "

Great Escape

"Couldn't of been happier. Quiet, secluded,scenery on property. Close to area sites, towns and stores etc. Only downfall would be a bit dangerous for little ones, due to dried up stream bed with a slight cliff. Great for older kids to go explo oldertexplore. "

"My husband and I stayed at Amie Ger and had such a blissful time reconnecting. The yurt is beautiful. The rooftop deck offers amazing views of the TX Hill Country. Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars come up was a special experience. The vibrant colors of the hand painted yurt make for a fairy tale experience. 10/10. Definitely recommend!"
