Search Bed and Breakfast in Haxby

"Just come home from using this property as a pit stop on my trip. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Took care of my needs when i explained. My room had all i needed. The bed was so comfty. I didn't want to get up. Breakfast was lovely too. Nice shirt walk to town. Perfect. Only one little thing i would say, which can be amended. Is cold draft coming from under the door. So maybe a draft cushion or a flap fitted to bottom of the door to stop all the warmth getting out and cold coming in....

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay and Helene was the perfect host. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The pre-ordered breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect as a base for everywhere we wanted to visit in Yorkshire and right next to Pickering centre. Would certainly highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Only point to make is, if wanting to visit steam train or Pickering castle, check opening times. "

"After reading some of the negative reviews we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were helpful and attentive and actually went above and beyond. Overall the property is a little dated and and in one of our rooms the tv wasn't working properly and in another the the lightbulbs needed replacing but it's clean, the beds are comfy and it's close to town. Would definitely stay here again."

"Had a lovely stay. Great guest house I would visit again. Owner very welcoming and helpful to point me in the right direction to tourist attractions and shops. Room very clean and quiet. They think of everything; toiletries, in the room such as tea/coffee/biscuit, little fridge outside the room with milk and bottled water, and own private entrance. Amazing breakfast and coffee. They were happy to let me leave my luggage before check in and same offered at check out time so I could explore...

"This is a gem of a b and b! Lovely location but very convenient for York and the outlet. Catherine is very contactable and responsive. Breakfast was fabulous. We will be back. We had a meal at The Nags Head in Askham Bryan which was lovely. Couldn’t get a taxi though so book ahead if you can"
