Had a great time seeing the changing vista overlooking Wilson's Prom. Cosy quirky containers set in a beautiful backdrop, away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. Only downside, need a better cleaner to get rid of brown mouldy showers and clean the smeary window so you can appreciate the views
Stayed here with my partner and our parents. The views were absolutely incredible, couldn’t ask for better. Communication was excellent and check-in and out was super easy. The room layout was a little difficult with three adult couples with two rooms accessible by the one door. Wouldn’t recommend this for those who need their privacy. The place was clean though a few hairs and bits floating about. The listing isn’t lying about the flies - they’ll try to get you! We couldn’t really sit outside during the daytime because of them but we were there in summer so maybe worse at this time. Recommend bringing what you need for the kitchen i.e. oil, salt and pepper, coffee and tea.
Very enjoyable stay, in particular the amazing view

If you dont like bugs , dont stay
I'm always very honest with reviews.
This place looked like the cleaners didnt do anything! Hair on pillows, dead fly's on the floor and spider webs with bugs in it hanging from the Windows., hair all on the bathroom floors and stains on shower screen. Also pile of dirt neer the couch. So we had to clean ourselves... Although the views were stunning, it didnt make up for the rest. Sliding door in main ensuit is impossible to open and close! I got stuck in there for 5 minutes.
Fyi, few spiders lurking around as your out in the sticks!
Overall i wouldn't come back.
Thank you John,
A very well positioned base with fantastic views from which to explore the many farms, seaside & inland towns and Wilsons Promontory. We had a fabulous stay and look forward to our return.
Stunning views and unique and very comfortable accommodation . Well thought out prefab on a hill. Spotless and modern. The wood fire heater was a bonus!

Mesmerising views and awesome host!
We were lucky enough to have stayed at Eagles Nest. We did sight two Eagles daily - their wing span was huge!
We drove past ‘360’ to get to ‘Eagles Nest’; with the closest villa being, ‘Lockie’s Lookout’ (LL). Although, LL was closer than anticipated, it is evident that effort has been taken to ensure that there is privacy.
The view from each room was amazing: Laid in bed, sat on the couch drinking coffee from the double walled glasses; and sat out on the decking - just that little bit longer. Our stay was very relaxing.
John, thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful property again.
