If you are looking for the perfect place to relax and “get away from it all”, Eden Isle and Arkansas' Ozark foothills are the perfect destination. While Eden Isle is known for Greer's Ferry Lake and the Little Red River, its stunning fall foliage is also spectacular. From late October to mid-November each year the Ozarks are painted with stunning colors. Sugar and Red Maple Trees are found throughout the Ozark Mountain Region and develop a wide range of beautiful colors ranging from deep yellows and fiery oranges to burgandy they are a sight to see. Other beauties include dogwoods, sycamores and mighty oaks.
The beautiful fall colors are joined by almost perfect weather. High temperatures typically range from the mid-sixties to the upper seventies during the day time with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Crisp Autumn nights are a great time to s'mores around our fire pit, or stream a movie on our Gazebo's 90" outdoor movie screen. Our guests also enjoy mornings and afternoons by our relaxing Koi pond. We hope to host you soon!
Our lake house is a spacious (2,450 square foot), yet cozy lake home, suitable for families or romantic getaways. Eden Isle is nestled in the gently rolling foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks and surrounded by incomparably pristine Greers Ferry Lake. During your stay you can do anything you like, or nothing at all. Our guests enjoy playing golf at the Red Apple Inn & Country Club's championship golf course, feeding the goldfish in our cascading water feature, watching deer wander through the back of our property, making s'mores, sailing, skiing or cliff jumping on Greers Ferry Lake, and watching outdoor movies on our gazebo's giant movie screen.
Our home has beautiful outdoor areas and extensive windows that seem to bring the outdoors inside our home. Arkansas' natural outdoor beauty is evident everywhere. Greer's Ferry Lake surrounds Eden Isle. Eden Isle's Marina is a short walk from our home. Eden Isle's Red Apple Inn and Country Club offer fine dining, championship golf, two swimming pools, tennis courts and much, much more.
Our home comfortably accommodates 9 guests (2 king beds, 1 queen bed and a bunk over queen bed in the bunk room). The master bedroom is located downstairs. It includes a spacious master bath and an extensive view of the back yard and garden area. The downstairs bunk room sleeps 3 and has an attached full bath. The upstairs bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) share another full bath.
Our kitchen is fully equipped for guests and offers seating for up to 4 guests at the counter bar. The dining table has 8 chairs and a large bench that allows seating for 10 plus guests. The adjoining great room includes a Sony television with surround sound and cable television (along with Chromecast streaming options), two comfortable chairs, a love seat and a couch (each with built in power recliners) and a gas fireplace.
There is a large front porch, where guests can people watch or simply take in the outdoor beauty. Just off our great room, we have a large gazebo where guests can relax while listening to the soothing sounds of the adjacent large fountain or enjoy movie nights on the Gazebo's large movie screen. The adjacent flagstone patio offers two dining tables with seating for 8 guests and a mesmerizing chiminea. Additional outdoor amenities include an electric smoker and gas grill.
Adventurous parents and grandparents can host "camp out" nights in our Coleman tent in our home's back yard. We also have a NEMA outlet for those needing to charge an electric vehicle during their stay. Outdoor enjoyment is enhanced by our property's extensive landscaping features and a "Buzz-Off" insect/mosquito control system.
