"Highly recommend! We absolutely loved the Garage! The surroundings were gorgeous, and it very easy to find. The property itself was spacious, spotless, well equipped and lovely as well! Check in was easy, and Anna, Siggi and Einar were very helpful both at check in and prior to arriving, sending detailed and helpful instructions. I would warn that this is quite remote, so it isn’t too close to supermarkets. However, this is made very clear in the check in instructions and as such we were well prepared. What made this property really stand out and make this perfect was the little extras that made us feel valued and well looked after. For instance the access to a central kitchen with extra cooking supplies if we needed them, homemade cakes for us to help ourselves to, a funny and informative welcome booklet and access to a hot tub in the most beautiful of surroundings (although we didn’t use this). After our experience here, we were sad that we only booked to stay one night and would definitely come back if we visit Iceland again. "

"great little house to relax in on the island. 15 min walk to the downtown so we can wander around to play, do some museums, eat different food, etc. very quiet and low key so we didn't have to worry about late night noise, allowing us to rest up well. amenities were nice and the room was comfortable. cozy little kitchen let us get ready for the day"

"One quick overnight stay. Staff was very accommodating for our early arrival. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to leave early for the ferry departure and weren't able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast."

"Quaint little guesthouse! The stairs are very narrow so moving luggage is a bit difficult but the location is great. We stayed 2 nights and the radiator in the bedroom wasn’t working but the property managers left a couple of beers for us knowing that they are still renovating and it was warm enough with just the one radiator. Would stay again! "
