I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Helsinki. Quirky but very nice, and the breakfast buffet is amazing. I'm afraid it's ruined me for the "continental breakfast" you get at similarly priced hotels in the States!

The rooms are very nice, the bed comfortable and the blankets thick. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the shower. I have stayed in many eco-friendly hotels before, but this one seems to restrict water pressure. This combined with only a small shower head means you can only apply water to abiut a 5 inch circumference of your body at a time, and makes rinsing thick hair almost impossible.

Staff were very accommodating upon check in. The breakfast is good. The tram to the city center was only a few steps away so convenient. Arranged our taxi to airport and even gave us boxed breakfast at 3 am. Would stay there again.

I found the room incredibly hot and was unable to lower air conditioner below 19.5. We enjoyed a great supper in hotel. It was easy access by car from port as we had holiday in Estonia

We loved AX hotel
The staff was excellent. Was always met with a smile. The food was great, my girlfriend and I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The hotel itself was intimate and cozy.We will definitely come back! Thank you again to all the staff and chefs at AX hotel! :)

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed conveniently by tram to city centre and airport. Near to Helsinki landmarks. Helpful staff. Overall is excellent. Highly recommended!!
