"Went with my family to stay at this house as part of my birthday celebrations. The house was easy to find, access to property and security was really good. The house was very lovely, plenty of space and room for us. If we had any questions, the host was quick to respond and help with anything we needed. Host was also very flexible. We were also given a lovely welcome basket of treats (we took to the beach) and drinks to enjoy. Really happy with our stay and customer service."

"Happy with the accommodation. Quiet area of site. Communication with owner excellent. A well equipped chalet, clean, comfortable beds, good sized TV. The one thing that was a problem was the ill-fitting bathroom door and given that the door has been removed from between the living area & bedrooms/bathroom, privacy was a problem. Other than that, we had a lovely week."

"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. "A lovely spot by the duck pond and very peaceful, the lodge was lovely and clean and couldnt of asked for a better stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the ducks and an autumnal bbq. M&D were great hosts with good comms. We were reluctant to pay the expensive prices for the entertainment but this didnt spoil our short break as we enjoyed our time in the lodge regardless."

"Beautiful little chalet with the comfiest sofas. We had a very peaceful stay and the host was very accommodating too. The chalet was only a few minutes walk from the beach at north point which was lovely. lovely."

5 star treatment without the 5 star price!

"It may not be a 5 star hotel but I would give Tennyson 5 stars for the way guests needs are catered for. Entry was simple and effective thru key safe. the room was clean comfortable and warm - I returned from a meal at the local Wetherspoons (brilliantly converted cinema covered in lights!) to find the heating had come on and the room was warm as toast. Breakfast items were in the room with access to a kitchen kitted out with microwave, toaster etc. The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a decent size shower you could move in. For a handy overnight stop it was perfect and very reasonable. Woke up the next morning fully refreshed to be greeted by the first snowfall of the year..... Full marks Tennyson, keep up the good work."
