"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It has a wonderfully rustic feel to it, yet provided all the comforts we needed to rest well: comfortable beds, a bath and shower, a washing machine, and a garden that has the sun for a lot of the day. The area around the property is very quiet, with an occasional tractor or car passing by. It was lovely waking up to the sound of birdsong every day too! "A very enjoyable family holiday. Anita is lovely and very welcoming. Great villa with everything we needed and more. Kitchen was very well equipped. Games room was a huge hit with the children and the pool was very welcomed in the 36 degrees heat! Huge garden meant lots of outdoor games too. Quiet and peaceful location and supermarkets easy to drive to. Recommend a relaxing visit to the nearby Chateau d'Ainay-le-Vieil."

"We had a lovely few days and the pool was great! The house worked well, if we were being fussy we would say that it could do with a little updating but the owner was very helpful and the breakfast was nice."

"Hosts were very welcoming but also kept out of our way. The house and pool are beautiful and the location peaceful. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Our only comment was that the bedrooms were downstairs from the main living space and you had to go outside and round to get to them. This was fine for our family but may not suit with younger children. The house is very remote and a car is essential to get anywhere."

On this occasion in July it was much warmer and the in room AC was almost pointless, barely any flow even on maximum and it did very little to cool the room. "We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "
