We had a basic room, which was clean, spacious and perfect for our short stay. The room was quite old - we had an issue with the shower door (that was promptly fixed) and being on the esplanade, was a bit noisy from traffic. That said, the location was great, staff were helpful and the rate was affordable. Would be fab to get a hairdryer in the basic rooms so you don't need to request one but otherwise no issues - we had a nice stay.
