"Stayed on a Saturday evening. After travelling and a long day I was looking forward to a rest. The room was clean but no remote for the tv and the toilet seat was broken. I spoke to the staff and nothing materialised to sort either. Also there was entertainment which I wasn’t aware of so it was very noisy, especially as I was directly above them. "Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. "

"Super place to stay - right on rhe beach and near the pubs and restauarants. Secure parking round the back or parking on the green. The room was fabulous, splotlessly clean, tea and coffee, and bottled water . Breakfast was superb and the staff are lovely and friendly. I will definitely return !"

"The property itself was well kept, clean, and had good utilities. Parking was not at all clear, since it seemed to be in a permit-only area so I parked about 10 minutes away on foot. Strange area to stay in, but again, the place itself was nice and well kept."

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "This place is even more beautiful and unique than the pictures! We had an incredible stay here and really loved the location, wildlife and surroundings. Very clean and well kept, tastefully decorated and made for an unforgettable visit. Would love to come back one day!"
