Relax at Magnolia (974525) and enjoy the secluded beauty of nature with a year round mountain view. Your view includes the monument of Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. Sit back in one of the 4 Amish rocking chairs on the deck. Our fully furnished mountain home has three bedrooms and three full baths. The kitchen is located on the main floor with a breathtaking view of the mountains. A vaulted ceiling living area has a 50' Flat SCREEN TV, Blueray DVD player, wood burning fireplace along with the master bedroom on the main level. Downstairs is a separate living area with TV, stereo, full bathroom and washer and dryer.
Enjoy feeding the birds from the bird and hummingbird feeders. There is an outside fire pit, grill and chairs to enjoy the view from a stone patio. See for miles. A beautiful private location.

The home has central heat and air along with wireless internet. Come and enjoy a home decorated in mountain decor with one of the best views in Hiawassee Georgia, just a short drive to the middle of town.

We loved the deck, perfect for our toddler to play on safely while we enjoyed the view. Nice, quiet area very close to town and multiple waterfalls were an easy day trip.

Poor accommodation
A/C did not work in the house and 2nd and 3rd floor were unbearably hot. Had to stay confined in the basement where it was still hot but much cooler. When I informed the Karen of the issue, she first accused me of causing the problem by putting the temperature too low - which was not the case. Then Vince called to have me troubleshoot and diagnose the problem - not really something I feel I should be doing as a guest at their house, but I did it without complaint. First he had me go out back and check the lines from the AC unit to see if there was any ice buildup, then check to see if any water was under the unit in the laundry closet, then move furniture, access the breaker panel, and reset the breaker. None of those were the issue, so they said they would send a tech out but couldn't get one out before we left the next day. Vince and Karen were apologetic about the A/C not working, and offered a discount if we come stay with them again. I told them I would not be coming back to the area, so I can't use a future discount. I asked for a partial refund instead, since the property was not as described (A/C listed as an amenity), and we were not able to use the majority of the house due to the heat. Seemed like a reasonable request since we did not get what we paid for/what was advertised. After asking politely twice, host stopped responding to my messages. Avoid these hosts' properties. They do not care to be fair with their guests.

The view can't be beat!! Location was great and the house was perfect, so cute. We had everything we needed and more. We didn't use the pool table, fire pit or fireplace, but if you had a group they would be a lot of fun. We hiked and drove all over the area. Thanks so much!

Family and pet friendly cabin nestled in the shadow of Brasstown Bald
No matter when you arrive, the view will consume you. This cabin is located between the Brasstown Bald ridge and GA75 in a quaint and quiet little neighborhood in Hiawassee. It faces west, with tremendous views up to Brasstown Bald and the setting sun over the ridge every evening. Wake up on a cloudy March morning, and the chill of the air will complement the cloud-drenched mountaintops and fog from your front porch. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We used the bathroom and bedroom on the main floor, right off the kitchen. Our kid used the upstairs loft. It was warm in the loft, but there's a nice digital window air conditioner to keep temps down in the summer. We closed the main floor French door curtains to cut down on heating during the day. The downstairs has a gorgeous (albeit a little steep) stone staircase that leads to the largest bedroom, plus the pool table room and basement porch with nearly similar views to the mountains. If you have pets or folks who don't do well on steep stairs, just mind your step. The downstairs is underground in the hillside, so it's MUCH cooler and would be great in summer. Amenities include YouTubeTV for every TV in the house AND 30Mbps up/down Internet. Next time we go, we will try and use the wood stove on the main floor and/or the gorgeous outdoor fire pit. It was too warm this trip. Next time, though. We're definitely coming back!

AMAZING VIEW
I gave this property 5 stars because the view AND house are absolutely amazing. The house provided everything that you needed to make your stay comfortable. The view from the fire pit was great and we used the grill multiple times without any issues. The drive up the street was a bit scary but I'm sure that is just because I am from Florida where everything is FLAT. 😊

Nice clean cabin with gorgeous views
Our family of six had the most comfortable, happy stay here in late December. The cabin is clean, three levels, comfortable, and just private enough without feeling completely isolated. The views are spectacular. The host was very kind and responsive with check in and when we had a question about a baby gate (which they had). We will definitely be booking this one again!

Needed a quick getaway with my husband and after reading the reviews it was a no brainer. If I could give it a 10 I would. The description of the cabin is spot on and then some. I noticed in all of the reviews, people mention the views, the coziness of the cabin, etc...I definately agreed with them all but i want to go a step further. The detail in this cabin is amazing, from the stone steps that go down to the lower level where the pool table and one of the three bedrooms is, to the "bear head" bottle opener that is attached to the outside deck on the main level (my husbands favorite). Let me also mention that you dont need to bring any spices, since the cabinet is full. I am sure the cleaning people check them regularly since none of them were out dated. The host, Karen is amazing, as well as her husband Vince. We had an issue with one of the tvs, since someone logged out, but Vince walked my husband through it and got it up and running very quickly. By far my favorite cabin we have every stayed in. Thank you Karen and Vince for an amazing cabin for my husband and I to reconnect and relax. We will definately be back....

Absolutely wonderful vacation!
This cabin was so nice. The sunset from the firepit was like a movie screen. The view was amazing! I was concerned about previous comments about the drive up, but it really wasn't that bad. Also, it says Google Maps won't take you there, but it will. We popped the address in and it took us right to the beautiful cabin. The only thing I would change is the "YouTube TV". We tried watching the Atlanta/Tampa game and we were kicked off no less than 20 times . I would suggest getting satellite TV. Other than that, which was really no biggie, it was perfect.

The pictures do not do this property justice. The home is beautiful and well-kept. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but you’re only a few minutes from town. Great communication with the owners. Very clean. We had a wonderful stay here. We would (and likely will) stay here again.

Karen was very quick on communications and very helpful. The pictures of the property do no justice. The cabin itself is cozy and beautiful. All the little details added a nice touch. The view from the property is incredible! I have been staying in Georgia cabins for about 8 years now and I have never found a property that gave this view within a reasonable price. It is jaw dropping!! Hands down my favorite cabin I’ve stayed in. Between the owners helpfulness and the cabin and it’s view - definitely another visit coming in the future. The drive way up seemed scary at first but it’s easy peesy and the view makes it all worth it. The neighbor up the road stopped in passing as well - super nice people. Thank you so much Karen for the wonderful stay!!!

Uniquely peaceful
This property is true to its listing. The property size is more compact than the pictures reveal. The house is a full three bathrooms with three separate sleeping areas. The top bath has a curtain to enclose the shower and toilet space. My son was deterred by this and shared bathrooms with family members. The bed area is a loft space. It accommodates, but it’s open. Overall the top story full bed /bath area is not private. Beautiful stonework ( and an extraordinary feature of the house) leads down to the third level. It may be a converted basement. The buildout is welcoming and cozy, but the noise barrier is nonexistent. The main floor bedroom is nice. It doesn’t have an on suite bathroom like the other two sleeping spaces. It is directly off the kitchen. The living, dining and kitchen have fantastic views and open onto a spacious covered deck. It was a great set up for our dog and very clean.

Wonderful View!
All around great property. Great views, attentive host/owner, quiet area but convenient to Hiawassee and Helen. Property well equipped. Kitchen can handle dining for 3-4 people. Good water pressure and AC. Ample glassware, plates, bowls etc.
