Staff made us feel so welcomed, comfortable, and practically like royalty. Room was very spacious compared to a typical hotel room. Plenty of closet space. Location was great. Close to shopping and a couple blocks from Metro. Walking distance to Times Square and Central Park.
For a 5 star hotel, the room showed quite of bit of wear and tear.

I went upstairs to the Darling Happy Hour and was not given a table top available for two because “it was going to be used with a reservation in 15 minutes” that did not occur and I felt being alone was not being respected -
I did not get the discount on my breakfast meal that was supposed to be given as VIP access
