Lovely place run by a lovely family, stayed for 10 days and did not want to leave. Ideal place if you just want to relax and destress, which is completely what I wanted. Sea air, sound of the waves crashing, gentle ceiling fan all made for the best sleep I’ve had in years. Swim in the ocean, chill on the beach, what’s not to love...? Oh, and the food’s pretty good too! Chris, UK.

Comfortable, rustic hotel next to the beach
I stayed in Sea Shine with my 7 year old son and was not disappointed. The family that runs the hotel is not only warm and friendly, but totally hands on and went out of the way to accommodate us. The sea is right by the beach, just a few feet away. Breakfast is delicious and taken in the verandah overlooking the sea. Their son Roshaan is a chef and cooks delicious food. If you are looking for a quaint and cosy hotel with full personal attention this is it!

Amazing Homestay :)) lovely family taking great care of us, simple but perfect little home on the beach. Good breakfast taken right on the beach. We slept sooo well! We just loved our stay.

Une super guesthouse
Super accueil , chambre face à la mer , au calme , bonne restauration , cours de cuisine super sympa sur demande . Près à tout pour vous satisfaire le fils est omniprésent pour vous faire plaisir . C est un épicurien passionné . Bien placé à 1 km hyper centre on a loué un scooter pour visiter les alentours . Je recommande cette adresse ( comme à la maison )

Trevligt och enkelt hotell på Stranden. Mycket trevlig familj som tog hand om oss under vår vistelse. Rent och bra Ac, även ok WiFi på rummet. Det är en bit in till centrala Hikka. Ca 300 LRK för en Tiktuk från hotellet till centrala Hikka.

Vacker plats men för offside.
Ligger helt fantastiskt på stranden men väldigt offside ifrån ”centrum” i Hikkaduwa. Rummet var rent men väldigt slitet och enkelt. Något vi saknade var kylskåp och säkerhetsbox. Väldigt hemtrevligt och supermysig personal. Mycket billigt men här får man vad man betalar för. Rekommenderar starkt om man nöjer sig med det enklaste och lugnaste på stranden.

Närhet till allt, fantastisk utsikt
Vi hade en helt underbar hotellvistelse på sea shine. här kunde man känna sig som hemma och familjen som äger hotellet är genomsnälla och hjälper till med precis allt. Min partner blev sjuk under resan och vi fick fantastisk hjälp av personalen på sea shine. Maten var jättegod. Fantastisk utsikt och man somnade och vaknade till havets brus. En liten bit med tuktuk in till "centrala" hikkaduwa. Vi gillade läget då vi hade närhet till staden men fick ändå lugn och ro.

Hotell med fantastiskt läge för avkoppling
Fantastiskt boende om man söker lugn och avkoppling. Hotellet ligger helt jättebra till på stranden och har små hyddor/cabanas att ligga i. Det passade oss perfekt eftersom detta var vår första anhalt efter flygresan till Sri Lanka. Vi kunde återhämta oss och slippa bli sönderstekta de första dagarna i solen. Hotellet ligger ca. 5 min med tuk-tuk från Hikkaduwa så att det är lätt att ta sig in till de mer livliga områdena när man känner för det. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Ett mysigt litet hotell med ett underbart läge på stranden och trevlig personal. Lugnt och skönt på stranden och inga säljare!
