In just the spot we wanted to be. Close to all of the national parks and monuments we were there to visit.

Clean room and the property itself were well maintained. Close and convenient to all things in Hill City. Staff were friendly as well. My only knock on the room was the walls were a bit thin as I could sometimes hear the tenants in the room next to mine. However, I never heard them enough to bother or inconvenience my experience at the Lantern Inn. I'd definitely consider staying there again on my next visit to the Black Hills.

We so enjoyed our 5 night stay at this well kept property in Hill City. The owners are super nice and anxious to accommodate any needs. Would like to visit the Black Hills again and would be glad to stay here.

Lantern Inn was so wonderful. What a cute and locally run Inn. The owners are super nice and the property is great. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, location is great with places that are within walking distance. Hill city is a cozy little town and in middle of the places we went. Great great location for visit Mt Rushmore or Custer state park. Equal distance to rapid city as well. I will definitely book here again.
