The toilet was broken and made a filling noise every 5 seconds, floor dirty with last occupants muddy boot prints, main light switch broken. Do not stay here unless any other option. Front desk clerk/manager/owner tossed my key across the desk to me because he was mad I booked with Expedia, rude at check-in and check-out. Raised his voice at me. Completely unacceptable behavior.

I purchased the best room they had at this location for the in suite jacuzzi. The faucet didn’t have enough water pressure coming out of it to fill the tub. Spent an hour and a half trying to fill it and still was only halfway full. Basically useless. Woke up in the morning feeling very sick and realized there was black mold all over the ceiling and the ceiling drywall panels were sagging indicating water damage that had not been addressed.

Nice average stay.
The hotel staff was nice. They changes our towels each day unlike the hotel next door. Had some run down things in our room and the toilet ran constantly but as a place ok.

My stay was decent. The pro for me was the convenience to my jobsite. The room i received was spacious and had a samsung tv which i liked. The cons were super low flow shower heads, there wasnt enough lighting, remote batteries were dead, toilet rocked, subpar mattress all at the price of a higher end hotel. Outside the room the communication with front desk is a struggle because of the language barrier. Also the front desk or Mgr are not authorized to make any changes to your stay if needed, negotiate daily, weekly, extended stay pricing. They ask you to wait 1 hour to hear from the property owner. They never give you an answer in 1 hour. They also CAN NOT confirm anything as well. Theres a big disconnect between owner, employee and customer. I will say the staff were nice and wanted to help, they just werent allowed to do anything. I met with one of the higher ups qbout negotiating a extended stay rate. He told me check with lobby the next day. I did and was told by desk clerk that the higher up said to give me the rated i had wanted. I told the clerk the rate and then i was told wait 1 hour. I came back 2 hours later and was told they couldnt give me the very rate i asked for. I packed everything up and headed out. As i expected the next morning i received a call from the clerk asking if i wanted a reduced rate so i entertained it. I still could beat their rate using 3rd party app. They also tell you plus taxes but no fees. People do the math, its taxes plus.

My wife checked into the room and found it disgusting. There was underwear on the bathroom floor, hair all over the floor and toilet. Carpet was not vacuumed, she could write her name in the dust on the safe. The chairs were dirty and stained. The refrigerator was not cleaned (crumbs and stains). Lamp shades were broken, hallways were not vacuumed. She asked to speak to the manager, the women at the front desk went to a back room where my wife heard the guy say "tell her there is no one available". And the sign indicates a manager on site 24/7. Additionally, there was peeling paint, ceiling water damage, and dirt/dust/paint flecks on the air conditioner/heater. So my wife asked for her money back and was told because it was booked through a 3rd party, she needed to contact them for reimbursement. In the many decades we have traveled and stayed at hotels, this was magnitudes more terrible than anywhere else. We also learned, after the fact, that this Baymont hotel by Wyndham is independently owned and not affiliated with Baymont. How can they use their name? Very misleading. Now, for all future stays at any hotel, we will need to dig deeper into the specific one we choose. Very disappointing to the point of frustration.

Stay away!
Avoid. The hotel is worn down and dirty. Room was filthy, floor not mopped and carpet not vacuumed. The toilet was broken and a plunger in a plastic bag was placed beside the pan so they obviously knew it was broken. Half of the lamps didn't work, lamps and surfaces covered in dust. Asked for another room and they claimed hotel was full. Unable to use the toilet for the duration. Breakfast looked disgusting, well what was there. Went next door to Bob Evans for breakfast. Terrible place, avoid at all costs.

If you like living life on the edge I would recommend staying here. You may or may not die from how nasty this place is. Sleeping on a Walmart sidewalk would be way more sanitary. This place is NASTY! I have no words to describe it. It’s cheap for a reason.
