The little house is just cute. There is an upstairs too with twin beds. It is quiet and relaxing. There was no noise and that was a little testing at times cause I am used to noise of some kind but all in all, it was very nice.
We had a great stay at the garden cottage! The property is stunning and had so many beautiful spots to explore! The map of the property was helpful, and the information provided by the hosts was so interesting! Beware however when they say it’s a steep hill they mean STEEP! We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed the cottage and how clean and well equipped it was. We had good contact with the owner and would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be staying here again.
Had a quiet relaxing time, enjoyed the peaceful setting. We took a hike on the trail out back of the house to the top of the one hill and were rewarded with a nice view. We used the grill to cook out on our second night there.
We stay here when we visit family who lives close by. It's quaint and cozy, a nice base for visiting the area towns and hiking. Nothing by nature nearby. Diane is a responsive and wonderful host!!
My wife and I were looking for a place where we could disconnect from tech and reconnect with each other. We found that just a short drive from Floyd, VA. The little cabin was warm, bright, and had everything we needed. Diane was a great hostess, making sure to clearly communicate with us and that all our needs were met. We will definitely be returning once the weather warms up a little and stay longer.
The cottage was very nice and comfortable. After reading the book about the farm's cider, we were looking forward to a cider tasting. We were disappointed to learn that was no longer done. The book left in the cottage should be updated.
We stayed at the garden house while attending a wedding at Chateau Morrisette. We enjoyed the cute house and the surroundings. The creek in back of the house made sitting on the deck for morning coffee relaxing. I enjoyed walking the property trails and my husband trout fished.
It was a bit hot without downstairs air conditioning but we survived.
