Check in as simple. They send you a text message when your room is ready and you just use the last four numbers of your cell phone number to open the door to your room. The room is very comfortable, especially the bed. They supply some dishes, glassware, and silverware. They supply shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Plenty of towels. A real bargain. I’m glad we found this place.

This was the second time I have stayed here within a two week period. That should tell you exactly what we think of this place. It has a very incredible view of the high desert. It sits on the top of a little hill and the sunset is directly outside the rooms. It’s fantastic. This place has a tavern and an absolutely incredible concert venue as well It’s a western type setting and feels like you’ve gone back in time to the cowboy days. It’s just a wonderful place.

First off, no one was ever at the office, they didn’t even check us in but just call to give us a code to get into the room. List room service but no one ever answers the phone. No TV service, when you call to lodge complaint of course they don’t answer it or by accident they answer it and said I’ll have someone look at it, which never happened. Then when taking a shower, the drains are so clog your standing in dirty water while showering. The sink also clog so it fills up with dirty water while using it! The mattress was so old it was the most uncomfortable mattress I ever tried to sleep on. Swamp cooler no AC. And no thermostat for me to control it! We left 3 days early, and of course no one there to check us out, don’t waste your money staying here! Worst place I ever stayed at!!!!

I was evacuated because of the fires, and this was one of the only places I could find that had availability and to my shock and surprise this place is so awesome and such a beautiful view such a beautiful setting kind of like a western movie set. I absolutely love it. I can’t believe I stumbled into this place, but I’m gonna bring my wife here often in the future because it’s just such a lovely quaint fantastic spot with beautiful staff who truly care. I never imagined Apple Valley would have something like this. This is one of the few times my expectations were completely turned upside down on their head. There’s no place I would rather stay in the high desert I run a YouTube channel in Big Bear called Big Bear Weather and More And I’m gonna make sure all my fans know about this place it is truly a gem in the high desert. Again, very much like a western movie set and they have a big concert venue and a tavern with spectacular views. Every single room has a spectacular view.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a perfect place. There is a tavern on site that has live music. It’s a short walk from the rooms so the music will not interfere with the peace and quiet. I stayed 2 years ago and noticed our remove was updated. There is a kitchen and there are dishes, pans, dish soap, and sponge. Will stay again the next time I’m in the area.
