"The Neuhausen Erzgebirge area is absolutely beautiful and this home is perfect for those wanting a quiet peaceful stay. Very close to Seiffen with all of the nutcrackers, smoking men, and pyramids. Neuhausen has the greatest collection of nutcrackers at their museum and is a must see! The home though is very comfortable and spacious and clean...it is as advertised. There are steep steps leading up to the bedrooms, so if that is a concern, beware. Loved this place and our stay!"

"This was located in a superb spot in Dresden. The host was really kind and accommodating. They met us upon our arrival to go over the house rules and show us the features of the apartment. We stayed with our 80kg Great Dane and 3 children. There were basically 6 people staying here and there was PLENTY of room. I highly recommend staying at this location."

You can take train to Dresden but to explore area you will need a car. There are many castles around Dresden and about 30 to 45 minutes drive from property. We had a wonderful time and if you do not want to be in the city the whole time, this is an excellent choice."

"Unser Aufenthalt in Bärenfels war sehr erholsam. Familie Kuhnert ist sehr sympathisch und gab auch gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in die Umgebung, die wir gern annahmen. Das Ferienhaus selbst ließ keine Wünsche offen und die Lage direkt am Wald ist perfekt. So kann man direkt vom Ferienhaus in die Umgebung starten, ohne ein Auto zu brauchen. Aber auch bei schlechtem Wetter kann man von Bärenfels aus viel Interessantes erreichen, so z.B. das Uhrenmuseum in Glashütte, was unbedingt einen Besuch...

"Andree helped us with all the information required and even more, equipped us with 2 trail maps and good locations. The is also very well prepared for little children, with table and playing ground and much more. The kitchen is FULLY equipped with everything. Outside is a wonderful terrace with BBQ and fireplace. "It was a really good and convenient place to stay. It is really close (walking distance) to the train station and to downtown where you find lots of places to shop and eat. The beautiful Christmas Market is also downtown if one goes during that season. The museums are close too- there is one actually right next to the hotel that is really nice- and transportation is a step away. I highly recommend it!"

"This is Ok kind property on budget, needs refurbishing completely. The main issue is no AC or fan, and very difficult to stay when temp is too hot. I didnt get the sleep at all , mainly its too hot and noisy ( near to road)"

"Beautiful spacious home. Very kind and friendly hosts. Surrounding area is peaceful, tranquil and is nestled in rural area with quaint half-timbered buildings and lovely villages. You can take train to Dresden but to explore area you will need a car. There are many castles around Dresden and about 30 to 45 minutes drive from property. We had a wonderful time and if you do not want to be in the city the whole time, this is an excellent choice."
