"Staff is great and accommodating. Breakfast is good and nicely presented. Room was clean, with a bit of extra attention to bathroom (hair left in shower and bathroom floor) but overall the room was clean and had a fresh smell. Only negative is the pool area furniture - I felt the pool furniture needed some TLC. Chairs/lounge chairs and table need replacing or renovation. Umbrella that used to be there, is now missing. Furniture was in disarray, (spiderwebs, dirty, unstable and tossed about)....

"This is a very dated property, and the property's location down winding side roads was hard to find and not very close to Grass Valley/ Nevada City. The facility dates back to the 1960's, and it shows its age and some neglect. Little has been done to maintain or update it. All that said, the staff was nice, and they do offer one of the few opportunities for short term accommodations at a reasonable price. For that reason, it is adequate for a short stay for the budget conscious if you're willing...
