"Yurii was very helpful with directions and key access. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable but the STENCH was most unpleasant from prior occupants smoking. Each time we re-entered the room from being out, we're hit by the onslaught of foul smoke smell. Further positives...the bathroom seemed recently renovated and was huge with wonderfully thick white towels as good as any 5 star hotel. Comfy bed and pillows (smell aside). We stayed over a Shabbat and holiday and it seems the religious...

"This is our second stay at The Roof. If we are lucky, we will come back again. We love that the roof. Sitting on a large balcony with the Nepresso coffee provided is a treat. Shlomi, who runs the desk, is very kind and helpful. And the price is right. Two short blocks to Frishman beach and to the promenade. If you are looking for very nice room, bathroom and kitchenette without frills this is the place. We will stay again!"

"Superb location right on the beachfront of Tel Aviv. It was wonderful to go for a daily swim right across the street. The apartment itself is very large, 3 bedrooms with living room, fridge, washer. This apartment is inside a run down building that definitely needs updating. The entry stairs are old, the decor is worn. Trash and neglect all around the property. "The property was not ready. There was no bathroom door, bath mat or waste basket. There is no coffee maker and there are no curtains. Pigeons are nesting outside the two windowsand there is bird poop everywhere. Not a great view. The bedroom is very cramped so we had to use the pull out bed from the sofa for one of us to sleep. This took up most of the room in the sitting area. For the price it was very disappointing.it was non refundable otherwise we would have moved. "

"The hotel is very well suited if you plan to travel to different cities in Israel. It is about a 2 block walk to a major train station. It is also attached to a very large vertical mall that includes a 2 floor food court with a huge variety of foods. As for the hotel itself, the Israeli breakfast is quite average-nothing special and everyday the same. Cleaning of the room is spotty and inconsistent. Despite these downsides, the hotel worked well for us. "

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special, with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Our room was elegant, spacious, and offered stunning views of the Mediterranean—perfect for a romantic getaway. The hotel even surprised us with a special treat for the occasion, which made the celebration even more memorable. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with a breathtaking sea view. The rooftop pool and lounge were perfect for relaxation, and the hotel’s location right by the beach made it easy to enjoy romantic walks along the promenade.
