"Staying at Kunugi's was one of highlights of my entire trip to Japan. The hosts are remarkable-so kind, generous and helpful. I felt like I was coming home everyday after a day on the mountain and it was very peaceful at this property and in my cabin. "One of the less expensive places to stay that I could find. Good value for the price. Helpful, friendly staff - they sorted my ticket for the gondola / lift pass at Tsugaike Kogen, and shuttle bus. Clean (even though a little older). 10 min. walk to Happo-one bus station and dining options. Great breakfast buffet."

"We loved our stay at the Hakuba Marriott! It had a great gym, the in room onsen was perfect after a day on the slopes and the staff were so friendly. It was walkable to the main drag and provides a shuttle to the ski resorts right out front. It was nice to come back and enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner. We cannot wait to stay here again!"

"I stayed here couple weeks ago, I like the environment and comfort and quiet place, the manager and staff are great and friendly, that’s the reason why I came back. The manager upgrade me to a room with Jaguzzi. Sadly is the air conditional is abit old , doesn’t cool up the room quick, but it still fine. The hotels room definitely needs a proper upgrade as there is many wear and tear and air conditional need an overhaul too. Wallpaper has to be clean as you can see some stains. "
