"What a view! The back porch is steps away from the beach. Our family loved spending time on the porch, playing games at the kitchen table, and exploring the island. The house had everything we needed. Foster was quick to help with a few problems. We will vacation again on Ocean Isle. "

Oh, the views!

"We had the best week at On the Rocks! We have 19 in our party and all slept comfortably on wonderful beds. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the things you could ever need with plenty of plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans you could ever need. The two dishwashers were the best for our large party. Walking out to the beach at low tide was so fun to looks for shells. We enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning off the left side of the back decks. The house is beautifully decorated and had plenty of social space on all three floors. We were on the quiet end of the island, which we preferred, and it was only a 7 or 8 min drive to restaurants and shops. Missing the house and that ocean view already!"

"Online this looks like a beautiful, secluded, private rental. Our family was so excited to stay here. As we arrived we found that the pictures online looked much better than what we were actually getting. The carpet is stained, walls are dirty, and the furniture was not clean. One of the beds box spring/frame is on the floor. The house had a very strong musty smell. The kitchen is beautifully renovated but the remainder of the house is outdated. The pool was not clean at all. It was full of crabs, worms, leaves, sand and dirt. When we called to ask what the refund process was they moved us to in a new house within 30 minutes because even the rental company knew. They admitted no one had rented this in a while and they knew it had a smell. We should have known based off not having any reviews. I hope this review will be a help to someone else before spending a large ammount of money. "
