Perfect location and very comfortable
This is the perfect location for exploring the area. I spent my weekend hiking in Acadia NP and exploring Bar Harbor and Camden. The cottage worked well for me and was perfectly appointed.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay in this charming little cottage over looking the lake. Michelle, the owner was very responsive when we had a question during our stay. The cottage was very clean and everything was provided for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Wow - Views and Comfort

Nice Maine Experience
The house was very nice. Michelle was thoughtful in her preparation - we got a personalized card, a pot for lobsters, not to mention bug spray to ward off mosquitoes. Had lots of fun, especially with the kayaks (just took a bit of muscle to get to shore).

Nothing Better!
Michelle is the ABSOLUTE sweetest person! She made this whole stay so easy and enjoyable. There was not a thing that she doesn’t offer here. We had difficulties flying in and she was so accommodating with us. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!

A little slice of Heaven
This quaint cottage was the perfect end to our trip. After nearly a week in Cambridge, it was a welcome reprieve from the city. The lake view from the deck and hummingbird feeder (all from the comforts of a rocking chair) made us wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed paddling around the lake in the kayaks provided. We soaked in the peace & quite and explored Acadia NP a short 40 minute drive away. The host was so accommodating and every detail was attended to for our comfort. We’d love to return someday.

One of a handful of houses on this wooded road, it’s very private. The cottage is adorable and eclectic. The beds were very comfortable & kitchen easy to cook & bake in. I loved sitting on the deck & listening to the neighbor kids play in the lake (beyond the trees) & the loons in the early morning hours. I went into Acadia National Park to hike, ate & shopped in both Ellsworth & Brewer/Bangor. Michelle is as a wonderful host! I would definitely rent again!

Couldn’t have picked a better home to stay in.
First time Maine visitors with the added bonus of it being our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better location, host and home. Seriously if your wanting to site see but enjoy lovely lake views each morning and night without crowds this is the PLACE. Our hosts made us feel welcomed from the moment we booked, notes for our arrival and endless recommendations. For first time hosts they know how to make you feel at home. Our favorite parts: - lake access for kayaking and fishing - humming birds actively coming up to the feeders - sunrise over the lake with the coffee provided - host recommendations for local eats - Our hosts Michelle and her family making us feel at home

Great place, wonderful hosts
Great two bedroom house with all the comforts of home. Great views of Green Lake whch has clear waters, loons, eagles, good fishing etc. Tenants have access to sandy Jenkins beach a 5 minute walk from house with large protected swimming area. Also, house has nce private dock, two kayaks and great canoe. We used rock firepit to roast marshmallows. Inside there is: very well equipped kitchen, nice dining space, comfortable living room with very comfortable day bed, a separate desk/workspace, good wifi access and TV for streaming channels. Full size washer, dryer and nice bright bathroom. Spacious deck has comfortable seating and tables for eating outside. Weber gas grill works great. And the place is very private with trees and grassy yard surrounding the property. Hosts responded promptly to every inquiry with helpful advice. Always gave us advance warning before coming to mow lawn. One bedroom has an AC unit, both bedrooms have window fans. We rarely used AC during July/August because house has good natural ventilation/windows throughout. Spent a very comfortable and relaxed two months here and highly recommend.

We. Loved. Our. Stay!
Michelle and this cabin are a gem! We could be happy here for months! 😃 It was everything I hoped for, & more. 1st, Michelle was incredibly helpful and a great communicator. She texted before our arrival with details and offered to answer any questions. Upon arrival there were (typed) very helpful notes on the fridge. 2nd, the cabin was not only in a beautiful location, and easy to get to, but it was fully stocked with plenty of the needed kitchen items, bath towels and shampoo, and a very useful washer and dryer, a deck with plenty of chairs for the amazing views. What made this rental extra special was how beautifully accessorized it is - think comfortable furniture, a writing desk with pens and paper, a mud room for our ice chests/coats/boots, and the décor was simple, restful, lovely (art work), and the couch with a large cuddle blanket (essential for those of us that are always cold). Our 1st morning, I watched the sunrise over the lake from the deck! It's so beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Just a few birds chirping, & a lone rooster in the background. I curled up on a deeply cushioned Adirondack chair on the back deck, with a soft blanket. Then, I watched a bald eagle drift by! This is perfect. During the day, we explored Acadia – hiking multiple trails, wandering thru the winding roads (note: cell is limited on the island), and discovered Bar Harbor. Then, we headed back to “our” wonderful cabin. We. Loved. Our. Stay!

Wonderful stay!
This little cabin in the woods had amazing views of the lake and was wonderfully stocked! It felt very private and remote, but it was just off of a main access road, convenient to Bangor or Acadia. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Came for the colors
We came to see the fall colors in Acadia. We found this place to be a welcoming space and a convenient drive (about 45 minutes) from the park. It gives you some time to unwind from the crowds and pick up any needed supplies. It is easy to get to and has a wonderful view of the lake out the back. Great for early morning and evening views. Michelle was a fantastic hostess as we got our departure date mixed up and she worked with us to get out quickly and was gracious about our mistake. The place is extremely clean and comfortable, The grill worked great and all of the appliances and kitchen needs were there. The only bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms, but it wasn't an issue for us. The stairway was easy to navigate. The deck is great and we did use it to enjoy the view. The beds were comfortable and the internet worked flawlessly. A great base of operations for a very fair price!

Cozy Retreat!
Cozy cottage tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful area on the lake. We had a great time of rest and relaxation in this cute cottage. Everything you need for a great stay and Michelle was very helpful with details of the area. The trees were absolutely gorgeous this time of year!!!!
