Heron Creek
We loved this property. The deck is great with a view of Lake Michigan. If you go to the second deck, the view is amazing! The beds were comfy and there is lots of room in this house! One negative is that cell phones could not receive or make calls, but you could text. We would definitely recommend this property!

Peaceful Getaway
The house is roomy and comfortable. It's location is remote and peaceful. Sitting on the large deck with a view of Lake Michigan, listening to the waves, and watching the sun set over the lake is unbeatable!

AWESOME SPOT!
Beautiful home that sits right on Lake Michigan. We brought 3 little kids and the creek that runs along the beach into the lake was like having a personal kiddie pool. We spent every day out on the beach- the flies were terrible the last day, but otherwise perfect beach days followed by relaxing evenings on the lower deck and in the great room of the house. Seriously recommend for a family vacation with little kids! Also enjoyed the paved driveway for toddler biking, the basketball hoop for little kids and the wrap around porch. Perfect vacation!

Last minute girls getaway
There were 7 of us so plenty of room. Great location on the Lake with private beach access, able to watch the sunset from the lower deck & enjoy relaxing breakfasts or lunches on the main deck. The main deck has recently been replaced but there is minimal lighting making the stylistic levels a fall hazard. The WiFi is spotty at best. We enjoyed ourselves & agreed we need to come back for a longer stay.

Great Weekend Trip
Had an amazing time with our large group of 32 year old friends. There are a LOT of stairs down to the beach so that may not work for some people but we loved the beach, the size, the number of beds/bathrooms and the location! Great stay!

Fantastic location; house needs updating and maintenance
The house is in the woods 74 steps above Lake Michigan. Kids love playing in half-way creek. The new deck is wonderful for entertaining a crowd. This is a luxury location but an older home that needs maintenance and updating.

September Celebration

Great Getaway
This property was so beautiful and perfect for us 8 young adults and two kiddos, a baby and a toddler. We mostly relaxed around the house and on the beach with easy up the stairs access if we needed to run back to grab anything. The deck was huge and shaded with beautiful trees surrounding it. The communication was instant when I had a question. We would definitely book again!

Amazing location
The house could use a few updates but it is a million dollar view, you can't beat the location if your looking for spacious accommodations and a relaxing time on the lake. Lots of stairs to get to the water but plenty of good views from the nice new deck if you don't feel like making the climb. We had 3 generations of women and everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. note - If you are not used to well water, bring extra from home for brushing teeth and washing your face.

Great!
It was a perfect place for a quiet New Year's get together with friends and their children. The large table in the living room was great for lots of board games, we were super grateful the TV got all the stations we needed for football games, and the kitchen was more well stocked than we expected. With no leaves on the trees, the view of the lake was great.

Great View, Needs Renovation!
The location and view and access to the beach is wonderful at this house. However, this home needs a lot of work and updating. Was not very clean inside or out and just needs a lot of TLC. Also, the last night we were there a mouse jumped out of the sink ran across the counter, jumped onto the floor and ran behind the dishwasher! It could be a beautiful place just needs work and pest control as well!

Location, Location, Location!
This large house sits on the bluff of a gorgeous setting. We were here in May so we could see the lake perfectly. The house is a bit older and shows wear of a well-loved home that occurs from lots of use and some stress from elements of the weather. The deck is brand new and offers a great place to enjoy the lake views. The beach was huge and beautiful. Lots of stairs! We didn't need the upstairs of the home at all but saw there were plenty of beds for kids and other adults. Would go again just for the lake views and close access to Holland.

House was spacious and clean. The beach access was a great perk and it was cool to be in such a remote location. The only downside to the house is that the water has a strong sulfur smell. It wasn't very pleasant to drink or shower, so we mainly used bottled water.

Nice place
We loved it but be aware there are a lot of stairs getting into the home. One of the people staying had a broken ankle so that made it difficult for her. Also, there really isn't a view of the lake, because of the trees, without going down to the landing. The rooms were big and nicely decorated. Overall a beautiful place right on LAKE MICHIGAN!!

We had a great time - house needs some work
We loved the views, the beach, and the time we spent together as a family. The hardest part was that the fridge broke on day 2 of our vacation. We called for support, but all we got was "is it plugged in?" (it was). They never sent anyone to check it out, so we went the whole stay without a working kitchen fridge. There were some other issues, too - no way to hose off from the beach, a broken screen door, a shower plumbed wrong, some bathroom mold, critters in the walls, missing sheets for the trundle beds... One or two of these issues wouldn't have been a big deal, but taken all together they were a nuisance. After the non-response on the fridge, we didn't bother with trying to arrange support, and the operations manager's number was out of service anyway.

Slightly disappointed
Overall the house was fine. However the overgrown trees block the view of Lake Michigan from the house. Very disappointing. Yes you can walk down the stairs to a deck with chairs to view the beach/sunset but the pictures online misrepresent which deck to use to view the water. This was false advertising to me and I would book elsewhere in the future. If I book on the water, I want to view the water from the house. Also the ceiling needs to be cleaned where the ceiling fans is…lots and lots of hanging dust which is visible.

Beautiful getaway
We had beautiful April weather and needed a getaway. This house has the potential to be 100 percent 5 star. The views are priceless. The previous reviews are constant with what we found. Although I was shocked at the dirtiness of the couches. I have not seen that since collage days. So yes stained carpets, and scuffed wall in main living area. Yet so many things were very nice. The water did not bother us. We have a well at home. There are 70 steps to the water but, it is very well made with rest stops. My 75 year old parents who came for dinner could do it fine. I think this is a good place for a large group with children. You just keep thinking that this place could be so nice with a little refreshing. Good supplies of dish detergent, laundry detergent, minimal spices and pantry items. The staff (and yes that feels different than an owner) was responsive and pleasant. I get the feeling the company does not do early check ins period. Getting to the house from the main road is tricky the first time. You want printed out instructions as you most likely will not have service. Overall we enjoyed our time and would go again.
