"The room was clean and the check in very pleasant. My only complaint is there were only 2 very small bath towels and I hand cloth for two people. The towels were clean, but bigger better towels are a small expensive to make a room feel more luxurious than it is. The room had hard surface floors which I like, because you can not shampoo carpet after each guest, but you can mop a floor. "

"This hotel was not a pleasure to stay at, it was extremely uncomfortable from the smell, the noise, bedding and towels. Also the windows were unsafe, shattered barely together still. Bed was the most uncomfortable, the bedding was so rough and made my skin itch it was almost impossible to sleep in. Price is much too high for the value of this stay. I recommend planning in advance so you don’t get stuck staying here for more than what nicer places charge."

"Went up for a writing retreat with five other authors, and boy did we have a nice time. Place was clean and in a nice location, close to some hiking trails, including Grindstone. Good communication with the owners, including them buying us a water pitcher when it turned out there was no pitcher in the kitchen. Six beds, which was handy because there were six of us. It's pet-friendly, which didn't matter to us because none of us brought pets. We never did try the hot tub, so I don't know how that...

"Inside of property was clean. One window AC unit was not sufficient. Listing indicated units plural. Ants in the kitchen. Outside deck and backyard are unsafe for pets, young children and elderly. No gates at the top of the stairs. No handrails on steps. Small dog could go under the deck rail and fall off. Fencing in yard does not cover the entire yard and is not very stable. On back side of property is a very steep slope. Treehouse not in the condition of the pics posted in the listing. Looks...
