I love how the hotel is close to a few different public transit stops, several places to eat, have a drink, or have coffee, and shops for necessities. The room was spacious and clean and the property management was responsive and fixed the minor issue we had right away. What I didn't like is that the elevator was out of order (they did have someone available to help carry our bags but I have mobility problems), and the locks on the windows were pretty worn out. Also, people at the bar and restaurant downstairs would talk loudly and shout at night, which made sleeping difficult. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, though.

Great hotel - clean and modern. Breakfast selection was really good although coffee ordering seemed a little chaotic. A minor point that in an end room I wasn’t able to get good wi-fi connection which should be standard.

Everything is great except the shower door. It gets water all over the bathroom and on the floor. I was afraid I was going to fall and I’m a pretty limber person. Also there was no soap at all. Not sure I missed that it wasn’t provided or housekeeping forgot it.

Disappointed that the advertised Rituals amenities were no longer available since they changed to a Swiss organic brand that smelled like Pine. Who wants to walk around and smell like a Pine tree? No one. Also we were told that the supposed “heated” floors were at a set temp. However, we never felt any warmth from the bathroom floor. So I highly doubt those are heated floors and thus it’s false advertisement. Everything else was fine. They have an excellent breakfast spread. Location was extremely convenient.

This property is self checkin with no front desk but all instructions are provided the morning of your stay. I stayed in a medium room overlooking a courtyard. It had a handy kitchenette & washing machine. It's really close to the station & the beautiful opera house. It's also close to the Hop On Hop Off bus which is handy if the weather is inclement. Highly recommend & would stay again.
