"We had a wonderful stay in the middle of a smaller beautiful city of Verden in Northern German. The apartment was great with all amenities that we needed, such as washer, dryer, full equipped kitchen, a wonder full park-like backyard, comfortable beds and many more. Communication was great with the owner/manager. We were very satisfied with our 14-day stay. "

"I called ahead to let them know I was checking in late (8 PM) and when I did arrive I only had to wait about 3 minutes after speaking with someone through the intercom to be attended. There is parking on the street in front of the hotel. The hotel is a row house with rooms on multiple floors. My room was on the second floor and the stairway is just big enough to walk up with carry-on luggage. A full size bag would have been awkward. Convenient and friendly

"Pros: 1. Convenient airport location 2. Immaculate, soundproof rooms 3. Free convenient parking 4. Lauren, night manager, provided outstanding assistance Lauren's kindness, expertise and willingness to go the extra mile ensured an enjoyable stay after an extremely challenging day. He was able to refrigerate my dad’s medication after we discovered that the fridge in the room had not been switched on. He was able to cancel the double booking I’d inadvertently made due to a glitch in the app. He even offered us some sandwiches, juice and yoghurt as we weren’t able to take advantage of the included breakfast due to our early departure."

"24hr reception essential as I checked in late and checked out early. Very good for an overnight stop on the way to north Denmark. The Nespresso machine and large bottle of sparkling water in the room were an unexpected bonus given the price."

"We were very much looking forward to this stay as a family. We arrived and as I was checking in, my son was asked “what are you doing here?”. Given he was standing with bags and next to my wife, near the reception where I was checking in - this made him feel unwelcome and the fact the security guard then continued to watch him, not a great start. The hotel has all the right pieces to make an excellent stay, it just under delivers. The room was lovely, the air conditioning in all three of our rooms was inadequate in late August. The dinner was lovely but it wasn’t busy yet we waited 40 minutes for our mains, then we had to ask for dessert menus and then they left us and we had to go up and order them. Five mains, three desserts with a few drinks came to £250 which was punchy. Finally - to have a menu which describes the many steaks in portion’s including “lady size”, for I think a 200g steak as opposed to simply by the weight was just too 1970s and misogynistic/sexist, something we as a family were all quite annoyed by. I ended up having to walk up to pay at the end. The service when they were at our table was good, it is just they left us. The gym is well appointed but I suspect if the hotel was even half full, it would be too small. All in all, this is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view but the staff were unattentive, rude or just not bothered. This is except for the reception staff themselves, who I dealt with - who were lovely, welcoming and hospitable. "
