We found the cottage to be the perfect landing in Normandy after a long day of travel. Pascale and Clod are very friendly and helpful hosts, giving great advice for seeing the sights or finding a nice meal while avoiding the tourist traps. They don’t believe it, but their English is really great. The cottage is cozy and clean, with
nice views in every direction. The little galley kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. There are two bedrooms, and that was perfect for a couple traveling with two weeks of luggage, but it would have been tight with additional adults, as there is only one small toilet and the hot water runs out quickly. If you have kids, they will love the secret loft, as well as the swing set on the lawn. We loved the antique farm equipment and the cows munching apples outside the window. This place is about 11 km from Honfleur, an easy drive, and about 5 km from Beuzeville, which has a large grocery store and several shops. So you must have a car, and GPS will be very helpful. If you’re looking for a Norman get-away, someplace to stay while touring cidre stands and sampling local cheeses, book this cottage. We wished we had stayed longer, but hope to return someday.
