It seems like an older building. Toilet did not flush unless you held the handle down, no soap, shampoo or conditioner. Receptionist when we checked in wanted to charge us twice. One of our pillows was stained and the other was ripped.

Staying in the “motel” section of the property, not in the main building you will be next to a very busy highway/road. Just as other reviewers noted, it is almost impossible to sleep due to loud noise. Food options are limited to several ran-down ethnic food places in a nondescript shopping plaza about 1/4 miles away. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. That does not make up for the noise. Perhaps staying in the main building would make all the difference.

I had an early morning flight. Staying near the Honolulu Airport and having a conveniently scheduled shuttle was a primary consideration to book this hotel. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast. It would have been more convenient if breakfast was open at 5 am to make the 6 am shuttle.

Since it is right by the airport and freeway, it can get noisy. Not big enough of a deal breaker. The breakfast options are great and the rooms are a nice size.

The employees were great but our first room in the courtyard was very noisy- we moved to the tower and it was better. This is an ok place if you need emergency lodging near the airport.

If you need to stay close to the airport, this would be a good value. A lot of road noise as it sits under a major overpass/highway. Good points were the free breakfast and the “caffeine lab” (great place for specialized coffee without having to leave the hotel).

Seemed like we were placed in the room without asking what we would like. Perhaps this was due to not having many rooms left or and that they only had rooms left that were on upper floors. We checked in late and did not provide transportation to the Cruise line we had booked with. I did not book another night with them because of this.
