The fire alarm went off 6 times from 3AM -10AM, where we were told to evacuate using the stairs each time. I was on the 11th floor. The hotel PA system was not working so the hotel could not announce false alarm each time. Six times no excuse.

Rooms are small but very clean. It has a boutique feel about it. Staff were great and the adjoining restaurant was really yummy.

Do not stay here. This place looks nothing like the photos online posted. Inside the rooms are old, not properly clean. We had a do not disturb sign on our room and on our 3rd day here the employees took it down and cleaned our room without permission, and they didn’t even do a good job.. I was using he restroom for our room, and my wife had to use the restroom in the lobby and the staff wanted to argue with her and tell her why can’t she use the bathroom in our room.. staff is rude and this place is a dump. The only thing nice about this property is the location of it being convenient next to the shops, and beach. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Shoreline Hotel Waikiki is a hidden gem in the heart of Waikiki! The location couldn’t be better—just minutes away from all the action, shopping, and amazing restaurants. The hotel itself is adorable, with bold pops of color and a simple yet functional vibe that feels modern and playful. Be sure to request a room, not far from the elevators! We heard it going up and down all night long. Now, let’s talk about the bummer: my gold status perks weren’t honored as promised in the reservation. (Cue sad trombone.) But honestly, for the rate I paid, it’s still a solid value! If you’re looking for a convenient, budget-friendly stay with a stylish flair, Shoreline is worth checking out. Just double-check those perks in advance!

My stay at the Shoreline Hotel in Waikiki was a nightmare. The hotel was undergoing major construction, which they failed to clearly disclose. We were jolted awake by loud drilling at 8:30 AM, and the balcony was covered in concrete. To make matters worse, construction workers were on our balcony, peering in through the window, which was completely unacceptable. The management was dismissive and refused to offer a full refund, despite the intolerable conditions. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel at all costs.

The property was a little older but they are currently renovating it. It is close to shopping, beach and lots of reataurants. The staff was fantastic, every single person we spoke with was friendly and helpful.
