"Diego made the process of staying in the NL very smooth! Communication was great---in the booking stage, at checkin, and regarding the property during stay. Very comfortable home, great facilities. The little town center just a few block's walk away is indeed very helpful and quite substantial. Transit very close, not difficult at all, even with luggage in tow."

When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. "This property has 2 rentals next to each other. Carola and Joris are very approachable and wonderful hosts. They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each unit is newly renovated and comfortable for 1-2 people to stay in. It is conveniently located near the Maxima Park, shops and lots of beautiful bike and walking paths. Next to the property is a large farm - which has a great store with fresh, local foods open on Thu-Sat. The area is very safe and friendly. Parking is free....

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. The room was a bit small (would have been very tight for two people) but in general it was such a great location it was fine. Breakfast was erratic. "The hotel is very nice. The service was very friendly, and the room was spotless. Perhaps the only drawback is the bathroom, since it has an exhaust fan running continuously, it is very cold in winter. But other than that, everything was great. The area is very nice to walk around, there are good cafes in the surroundings, stores and lots of green areas. Also, very good connection by train and bus to other cities like Utrecht and Amsterdam. In addition, the hotel has its own restaurant and cinema which can be a good panorama for a rainy weekend. Highly recommended."
